life force of the fruit and veggys is gone in 7 minutes from picking but it still keeps it minerals and there certain things in carrots that improves eye site which is proven fact. your thinking of is if you heat it up as in pasterized kills all the vitamins and minerals this is not heated up and they cant lie about it but you never know if they could add stuff to it. overall its alot better then artificial crap out there. you can tell buy the taste if there something not right with it.
