The body is a miraculous machine... it can apparently adapt to any number of assaults and function for a finite length of time in a mutated/adaptive mode in order to prolong life.

For chelating aluminum in "Minerals for the Genetic Code", Olree states one must have adequate absorbable calcium, magnesium and silicon. I suspect this is not only to help remove free aluminum, but to also replace the aluminum that has fixed itself in places these minerals should be.

Of course there is a need for regulation of mineral balance and selenium, boron, yttrium, and Iodine among a plethora of others; all playing their parts here as well.

There is such an interactive weave between minerals and elements (one influencing and/or depending on any number of others for correct function and balance) that it is mind boggling.

Read the parts on Aluminum.
