Hi leem,

Your question: Another thing I wanted to mention as an aside: a few months ago in early summer I went swimming with friends and the water was a little cold. Well, everyone jumped in and swam for at least 45 minutes. I lasted less than 30 seconds. Once the water hit me, my body just couldn't handle the cold. I couldn't believe that my friends were able to stay in the water. I shook for 20 minutes after jumping out.

This is a clear sign of lack of kelp, huh? When I put this together with cold hands/feet, I see that I must be very low on sodium. Is there anything else that this might indicate??

Answer: It is a sign your adrenal system is weak and you may be short of needed Natural Sodium, which may be gotten from Cold water Kelp, not warm water kelp, so one needs to make sure one is getting Cold water kelp to get this needed Natural Sodium !

One may also get some needed Sodium from Buttermilk !

Smile tis your choice.
