I'm sorry, I've been there and done that and I don't believe for a moment that this guy will change for you. It is very rare that people change simply to please another person. A person can only successfully change because they want to change.

Free yourself from the misery and find someone that you are compatible with, that will cherish you for who you are....but before that happens do yourself a favour and just concentrate on yourself and love yourself first! Not in a selfish manner either, but just a down to earth manner.
