I wish someone else would chime in here because I have many of the same questions that you do. I believe the Western Blot is supposed to be the best. I would like to think that if you've gone four years without outbreaks and have a piece of paper saying you're HSV negative you'd be good to go. I strive for this myself. But I know others will disagree.

What is your diet like? Have you tried triggering another outbreak? MSG, aspartame, coffee, alcohol etc?
