I'm a newbie to Iodine and I plan on giving updates as I go along. I've been on thyroid meds for 31 years, but now I'm trying iodine. I plan on taking half the dose of my thyroid meds as I continue to up my Iodine intake. I started with 1 drop of Lugols on 8-24-07 and I'm up to 2 drops a day now.

I don't really understand what your Iodine supplement is exactly..I'm just learning this stuff! I used to do research on my thyroid meds..seeing if I could ever get off of them..didn't know enough then to check out iodine. Why they don't use that first, I can't figure out..seems dumb to me.
