Ok, let me clarify.
He remained friendly with his ex girlfriends over the years (as far as I know, very infrequent email contact, once every two years...just updates on how someone is doing etc). It's not like that was a huge secret, but I would always be very sensitive about things like that, so he didn't volunteer the information anymore.
I found that recently one of his exs contacted him through email (emails were pretty innocent - again, sending a link about something, bla bla, his reply was normal/no weird vibes -- at least that's what I found)...
I asked him if he was in touch with any of his exes lately and named that person, and he said he wasn't in touch for several years. Perhaps, he forgot, or not, but to me that was a small lie. So, I said, he couldn't be trusted then. And then he got pretty mad...asking me why i would say something like that....
I don't know if there are really some dark crap in his life or he is just getting mad because I suspect him of things like that....
Not to excuse this, but I can be pretty distrustful and jealous, and have on occasions brought things like that up before....
p.s. About a year ago, I told him that I needed to talk about something (over the phone). He asked me what about, and I said I'll talk to him when he gets home. He got extremely nervious, called me back asking what it was about. Later he came home, looking extremely anxious and distraught...I was on the phone with a friend at the time. He asked me (anxiously) who I was on the phone with. He usually doesn't care who I talk to on the phone...
His reaction then seemed strange. That epizode was forgotten later.
The last enraged/anxious reaction was very similar to the other one.
I don't know if I am looking too much into this....
