I am so sorry. I understood your post as you were taking flaxseed oil. So I suggested the flax - seed not the oil. When dealing with estrogen dominance challenges, I have learned.
The fresh ground flaxseed may be better for estrogen dominance challenges, as estrogen is detox through the liver and fat. Well anyway, I read that when a person has EDC the liver may be toxic and is most likely not detoxing estrogen and fat from the body, optimally. If this is the case ground flaxseed is the better choice, as you will receive all of the benefits of flaxseed oil, along with the flaxseed fiber (fiber is an awesome detoxant) and other beneficial nutrients not known to us, yet.

I purchase organic flaxseed from the health food store, in the bulk section. I usually pay about USD $1.59 for one pound. I purchased and coffee grinder from walmart for USD $10 and I only use the grinder for flaxseed. This way I consumed super fresh flaxseed. I usually ground enough to last two days, three at the most. I use to purchase ground flaxseed by Barlenes, until someone stated if I ground my own flaxseed it will be fresher and cheaper and no different than Barlean's.

Please be aware that Meat, Dairy and Soy can worsen Estrogen Dominance Challenges.
