You also might want to read the metabolic forum. 1/3 of the people can't get their pH up with a an alkaline diet. I originally found this out on the cholesterol forum, because it is the same when you have high tri-glycerides.
I cut back on fruit, almost elimenated grains and switched to grass fed beef etc.
