one time i asked here about some dental work (in the states) because i have insurance.  they said they would use amalgam and nickel.  i said i cannot have it, that it makes me sick.  they said they have never heard of such a thing.  they told me to get a dr to say i was allergic and they would submit it to the ins and it would take 2 weeks for an answer.  i didn't bother to do that.
