O - Thanks! I've wondered for a long time what to do about this malady. I'm nearing 50 and have tried different things. Recently I've resorted to shaving because it's simpliest and fastest, but just to think of shaving my face has been so - degrading to me. I see women older than me with perfectly smooth faces and wonder what they do, or if they've even ever had the problem of whiskery facial hair, which is unlikely. This is something kept quiet, I guess.

I'll try the electric type shavers as you mentioned. I'm glad that I haven't religiously plucked and waxed now.
