I had 10 molars out of 12 original molars and no wisdom teeth. There were fillings in all the molars and all the fillings were removed and replaced. The dentist told me that in one tooth there were five fillings (filling surfaces). I have read that if you have an Amalgam crown with no tooth showing at the top it counts as six filling surfaces. I think if you have all filling and only the corners of the tooth remaining it is four fillings. Some dentists drilled out the sides of the teeth and filled the sides with Amalgam too.

I had one side of my mouth done at a time. On Monday I had my teeth cleaned for about an hour. On Tuesday I had the lower right side of my mouth reconstructed. Each day a quarter of the mouth was reconstructed. I think the dentist put in the resin-quartz type composite with a syringe. He was using a tool with some sort of red-orange glowing end and also a tool with a purple light on it. It might have been heat or light cured resins he was working with.

At about a month I am feeling better, not yet cured. In the first two weeks I was glad that the numbness around my mouth and chin went away. About the third week the vertigo and dizziness were gone. The fourth week I was able to walk six miles in one day then two miles the next. Was able to walk two to four miles before the removals, yet did not feel as healthy.

I have done more research about chelation using DMSA and DMPS, these increase secretion of mercury in urine according to the dosage given. I have been reading much about alpha lipoic acid and especially that it has been shown to greatly boost glutathione levels. Glutathione is a chelate that the body produces. It is a sulphur compound. Children suffering autism had high body mercury levels and low sulphur levels. Cells resistant to mercury toxicity had high levels of glutathione in them. I found the supplement available at a local drug store in the vitamin and mineral section. I started taking the supplement today.

Am not sure of the journal article that alpha lipoic acid increased urinary secretion of mercury, but I think the word was that it increased secretion of mercury and that it was used in Russia. Penacillamine was also mentioned as a chelate, but have not been able to get clinical study info. about it. Some of the chelate studies were done to try to eliminate lead in lead poisoned people. Cadmium and arsenic were also toxic, yet mercury is the most toxic.
