Animals in the wild don't live all that long, while some dogs make it to 15, 18, or even beyond. You would be hard pressed to find a wolf that old. Or a wild kitty, either.

And while the implied thinking seems to indicate that eating a wild diet keeps em healthy, they do suffer diseases, age quicker and have parasites...

While it has its perks, it's still a hard life out there....
