I was also recently diagnosed with estrogen dominance. My doctor explained to me that there are 3 different estrogens in the body, oestrone,oestradiol & oestriol. There is a critical balance between these estrogens and since they have different potencies, an imbalance can result in dominance.

I have also just started using progesterone cream and taking calcium-D-glucarate which enhances the metabolism of oestrone. It's probably way too early to say for sure, but I do feel a little better.
