popejohn3rd, life is God-given and so it’s held as a sacred trust. The Bible views suicide equal to murder, because. “… Thou shalt not kill…"– self-murder. I suppose God wants to be the one who is to decide when and how a person should die. Taking that power away from God could be blasphemy.
