It really has nothing to do with being vegan, it just has to do with being STUPID.
You can be vegetarian and vegan and raise children healthily, and eat a variety of foods. What possible reason would they have for only feeding their child two things ever? Even strict vegans have many more options that almond milk and wheatgrass..what about all fruits and vegetables, soy, nuts, etc? There is nothing wrong with raising your kids vegetarian but there is something wrong with STARVING them. And things like this make me so mad because the typical person sees this as "vegans are unhealthy" and thinks typical vegan diets will harm children. When it doesnt.
