I do feel bad for them-- I feel they loved thier children, but were misguided.

-- and I don't think the manslaughter charge was fair. I hope it was only involuntary manslaughter and not the type that puts people in prison for decades. These parents had no malicious intent.

They were on the right track-- Wheatgrass , almond juice, etc, are very nutritious things-- more of us should introduce these to our kids. Problem is that they needed more variety of raw foods- especially for kids with health problems, or who are still in the growing years.

I also would cheat a little and let them have some organic free range eggs, fish and fish oil-- and raw goats' dairy for thier bone health and let them play to thier heart's content outside all day.
