No matter what you think of V, W or T, Iodine is important. And this forum has done a great service to woman that are suffering from cysts in the breasts. This is not something that should be considered lightly, this is important stuff. There is a lot of information regarding the use of Iodoral and breast health. In the beginning, it seemed Unyquity was very much for balls to the wall supplementation and seriously, I don't know what changed with her. I guess I wasn't following closely enough, but something has changed. And quite frankly, I could care less about these petty squabbles.

So what, they like to have fun? What the heck is wrong with that? Half of all of this learning should be filled with fun too. Where the heck are all of your senses of humor? Humorless people make for a very sad and dull world. I don't see any threads in V, W & T that don't allow others to join in the fun. Perhaps you don't because of your own choosing. So what? So sad, too bad. Then ignore and move on. There is plenty of information in there to learn, and if you don't like the fun parts, then don't read them.

They own the forum. Owners of forums get to do what they want. If you don't like how the forum is going, then there is another forum. Go into that forum. If the V, W & T forum is about supplementation and that is not your bag, then don't go there. Go somewhere else. It seems that this is more of a petty squabble about personalities. Heck, I don't like some of the forum owners, and I don't go there, ever. You are like a catty group of school kids talking about the popular crowd and how damn unfair they are.

And Grzbear, I'm sorry to say, I think you went there for the express reason to cause debate. You already knew what the score was, so what was your purpose and agenda? It would be like going into Barefoot's forum and saying...eat more pork, pour supplements down your throat and never eat an orange as long as you live. I would not do that in that forum, so why would you do what you did? Was it to cause controversy? Honestly, was it?

Let's face it, no matter what you think of V, W & T, they are offering a very important service to those that are interested in what they have to offer. The following is an email from the breastcancerawarness folks about their forum. If this doesn't give you some pause for thought, then I don't know what will. I think you should really get over the schoolyard antics and go to the other forum and get it going if you wish.

This email was following the idea about getting this out onto Oprah from the Breast Cancer folks:

I'm thrilled to see you have benefited to profoundly with Iodine supplementation
and share you goal to spread the information about iodine's value. We are big
fans of the Curezone Iodine Forum and recognize what a superb brain trust they
have going. Here are my thoughts.

1. Media hook. In thinking about Oprah, it strikes me that we need a "hook" which
she can promote to her viewers. I think a show on sore breasts would be "a way
in" to expand on the further benefits of iodine.

"Are sore breasts normal? Can they ruin your life? Can they be dangerous? Tune in
Oprah today at four and find out what you should know."

Jack Kessler, PhD, who has researched and published on sore breasts, told me that
in England there are clinics for fibrocystic breast disease. Here in the US, we
are told sore breasts are normal! The Mayo Clinic literature, that a third of
fibrocystic breasts progress to cancer, is not widely known.

2. Strategy formulation. If we are going to consider a media campaign, it might
be worthwhile assembling an "iodine coalition." Besides Curezone and Breast
Cancer Choices, I'm thinking of Zoe Alexander and her Iodine Group of 1,000-plus
members on Yahoo. I'm sure she will join us. I was one of her first members and
urged her to build a website to house the accumulating information. Our Resource
Editor, Lynn Razaitis, provides the internet facility for Zoe's website and is
extremely literate about painful breasts.

3. Grass Roots Campaign. We must let the medical community know there are
no-nonsense iodine patient advocates out there who have done their homework. From
my experience in the Breast Cancer community, I've found that if you use the
word, "advocate," it conveys a level of seriousness, formality and determination
that opens a lot of doors. Breast Cancer Choices' Iodine Investigation Project is
widely known, probably because we said, "we're here" and just moved forward with
a plan. When I went to the Iodine Conference, we got a favorable reception.

I apologize if these beginning talking points are more than you were interested
in when you asked us to write to Oprah. It has been a struggle for the last two
and a half years to push the importance of iodine, and now that it's really
catching on, we at Breast Cancer Choices have everything we've been fantasizing
about bursting at the seams.

Thank you for starting the Oprah idea. Let me know your thoughts on the above
talking points.

Sincerely,

Lynne
