Hello Fellow EC suffers,

Since I first got Exfoliative Cheilitis (about 6 months ago)I have tried many things, some work so so some don't work at all. The last thing I tried was a colon cleanser and detox. I must say that after that I showed great improvment! My peeling cycle used to be about 2-3 days now it's about 2 weeks! I also take multivitamins and other types of oils but to be honest I don't think that had much impact at all. The main problem I still have is that my lips turn white in the shower. However, I discovered a cream called Triamcinolone Acetonide. If you apply this before you go to bed and in the morning you take a shower it shields the water from having direct contact with your lips thus allowing your skin to grow more. Currently, my lips look normal (even better than some people that don't have this condition.) However, I'm still not cured because every two weeks my lips peel again. But you can say that this cream is a quick fix for those of you who want to try it. I must warn you though that when this cream gets in contact with water it turns very sticky so you will have to rub it of gently with your fingers. I'm confident that I will find the cure for this condition and when I do I will let all of you guys/gals know! I will post my progress and findings in this thread so stay tuned.
