I have never tried the castor oil pack for vericose veins but have had much success with lots of other applications. I found this excerpt:Found here:

In her popular book Take Charge of Your Body, Canadian physician Dr. Carolyn DeMarco recommends the application of castor oil packs at night for the relief of pain and swelling associated with varicose veins.


Since the castor oil increases the blood circulation just beneath the skin, it makes sense that it will help with the vericose veinss.
