I think it's a grand idea...but I don't know how it will work out in reality. I'm certainly not AGAINST it, that's for sure.

The reasons I don't know if it will 'work in reality' is:

-- there's no pre-existing database of information to call upon for reference. (I don't know if Ana was ever able to get the archives of the originally "open" forum over to the newer one or not). But EVERYbody was a part of the original archived information, so ethically it shoud present no problem for the two Iodine forums to have the same baseline archives. Of course, the archives are still complete on the VWT forum, but I can only imagine the 'screaming' there would be if we started linking people to information in the VWT forum (and I surely canNOT take anymore ridiculous, time-wasting, energy sapping conflict). But hey, that doesn't mean it can't work or can't be done...I'm just one to examine all the potential pitfalls first BEFORE I start onto a pathway.

--Keeping the forum "alive" and vital. This (as well all have experienced) is necessary or we end up feeling like 'nothing's going on over there' and we don't go ourselves...and then there's nobody to help the newbies. One of the things we could do is all of us could change our email notification settings to receive an email notification every time a message is posted inside the forum. That way we'd KNOW (and could respond as fast as possible) to any new questions, posters or concerns. Methinks that's a good idea.

--I realize I could/can be an integral 'force' in assisting others and encouraging posting...but dagnabbit, we're in such a dark hole financially at this point in our pathway that I absolutely cannot be the 'poster child for posting' (lol) that I wish & dream I could be. (Don't get me wrong, I don't think I am NECESSARY for any forum's success)...I just want to point out that my assistance and ability to post is EXTREMELY limited for the next few months.

I can't think of any other pitfalls (I'd LOVE to be back in a place where the CZ TOS was the only 'posting guideline', a place where ALL posterss words & questions would be met with respect & common courtesy...and where information would be allowed to flow FREELY and without cencorsehip.

I see Ana just posted a new post. Let's all do what we can (when we can) to see if we can't bump some life into that forum!
