You will always be an angel unyquity. We have had differences, and we do not always agree, however we are so much more alike one another that the differences are mere shadow behind the light.
You are probably aware of the flack I took when I started having trouble with the high doses and backed off... it is not as if I did not give high dosing a try... four plus months, and this after having eaten/dosed between, 8 - 12 mg a day in seaweed and atomidine for about 1.5 years. I was not anywhere near a beginner, having done Cayce Iodine protocols back in the 70's, but I was made to feel like I did not know what I was talking about. Maybe I don't know what I am talking about where everyone is concerned... but I do know from my perspective and from my learning experience and being able to share that freely is how we all learn.
People should be able to discuss and feel comfortable discussing their issues and problems with high dosing. To not be able to freely is a disservice to human health.
My primary agenda, is the same as yours;
"MY true agenda, which is the health and well-being of my fellow humans."
I appreciate your stepping up and speaking your mind publicly. There is another Iodine forum for those that wish to freely explore both their good and bad experiences of Iodine supplementation and/or mega dosing without fear of censorship, perhaps people who are exploring the protocol, or hurting from their experiences in the VWT forum can start the other forum rolling again. I will post there when appropriate.
This would give the 10% of those that may have trouble taking any form of iodine supplementation, with the possible exception of food sources, a fair playing ground... and those that may not need to supplement any more than maintenance a sounding board without fear of being censored or run off.
As I stated in my post, perhaps, if the VWT team wants the forum to focus on the Fletchas et. al. protocols and the higher dosages, they can rename it as such and focus on that, and then courteously refer all other protocols that inadvertently intrude on the VWT forum focus, such as Jarvis, Cayce and/or maintenance protocols etc. to the other Iodine Forum where they would be welcome and people can learn about iodine in a much broader scope.
There is no denying that this needs to be explored more thoroughly. Especially since iodine is available to the public in many forms. Even if it does, in the long run, pan out to be a short term fix for things like fibrocystic breasts and other such protocols, it will be a very worth while endeavor. I suspect the 12.5mg for women and 8.5mg for men daily dosing is pretty close to correct for maintenance... unless getting a highly absorbable form such as (apparently) the iodine HoW is using. I want to try that...
In the long run, I think this would serve everyone fairly and be of benefit to all. The VWT team get what they apparently want, and can focus on it. Everyone else can find help in the other Iodine Forum where differences can be discussed and where posts will be left intact unless crossing curezone posting rule lines; and where threads happen to turn into debates, they will be courteously moved to the iodine debate forum where the discussion can take off freely to explore and discover. This is where the greatest learning occurs... in constructive debate. As a forum should be.
