I only do a variation of Julia Chang's though. I don't drink all the apple juice (it's not necessary if you're taking GCG in my opinion), and I put castor oil packs over my liver area, which seems to help a lot.

I DIDN'T like the Classic Coke Flush. It was fine but I felt TOO MUCH action in my liver while trying to sleep. I kept getting up and having bowel movements in the middle of the night, like about 4 of them. It was a pain in the butt having to do that. Many people do just fine with it, though.

My favorite flush is a variation of Julia Chang's. I add a bottle of magnesium citrate the morning after I take the oil/juice mixture, don't drink all the apple juice though, and add a castor oil pack over the liver the night of the flush (that opens the bile ducts of the liver).
