" I have no idea if there's even such a thing as a "lack of estrogen related hair loss" for men...but I've never heard of it. "
My read is that its androgenic allopecia you've experienced. Women have testosterone too, and it is oxidized by 5-alphareductase in the scalp to di-hydro testosterone (DHT) which is responsible for hair loss in both men and women. How to stop it ? Easy. Get some 5-alphareductase inhibitor in there. Saw palmetto, kudzu root, red clover extract (standardized) soy isoflavones genistein and daidzein, are a few natural ones. A powerful synthetic is cyproterone acetate, but I wouldn't touch that stuff. I think one has to either inhibit the 5-alpha, or else get an anti-androgen in systemically. DIM is a strong one. Eating raw brassicas gets it.
Certain mixtures of the foregoing with one additional ingredient can have enormous impact on a person's cognitive abilities.
I think the alopecia can fbe remedied. The culprit is DHT.
