I was only asking about the Dark Room because I wanted to try it. Sofia was able to help answer my q's. This is the first post I made on my Dark Room (I did it the last week of July).

The reason I wanted to awaken my pineal gland is because I read that it starts to calcify when one enters their early teens, and many believe that the pineal gland is the key to obtaining higher consciousness. I guess I'm trying to reach the highest level of my spiritual being, as well as my mental and physical state.

I for some reason thought that awakening my pineal gland would allow me to experience lucid dreaming or out of body experiences and make me more aware my spiritual being. My younger sister had these when she was 10, but no longer remembers any of it, and maybe this is why I am trying to do the same. I guess there is a reason why only certain people can experience these certain things.

And thank you for your advice, I will let my subconscious play its part and try not to interfere with it.
