we didn't used to have much of it at all, but all of a sudden a few years ago, wham!  and it kept growing and growing untill we see many every day.  it is sickening.  but, i bet that drug companies get to write off a lot off advertising on their taxes, so that is even more motivation..on top of being an effective tool at convincing average joe citizen he needs a drug to sleep and a drug for pain and a drug for depression and a drug for clarity of thoughts and a drug for his high blood pressure and a drug for his cholesterol and a few other drugs that make all the drugs he is taking, work better.
