The type of salt you use can make all the difference in the world. Personally and many round these here parts find the grey Celtic Sea salt the most palatable. It's night and day compared to any white over processed sea salts. Others also like Redmonds Real Salt or Himalayan Pink.

Many have found that mixing the salt in 8 or 12 oz or H2O slamming that and then chasing it with the rest of the quart of plain H2O is what makes it tolerable for them.
