Hi All,

I have tried what I considered to be a good quality flaxseed oil for about 6 months, that was about 2 years ago. I found that it was initally incredibly beneficial, however I found that my Acne rosacea became worse within about 4-5 months of taking flaxseed. I only took 1 small teaspoon each day. I eventually stopped taking it when my Acne increased rather dramatically.

I do miss taking flaxseed as it helped my hair, stomach etc. I think it may also be beneficial for endometriosis, which I is something I am having to deal with at present.

Basically does anyone have any ideas, should I give flaxseed another try? If so which brand is best. I live in Britain, just thought I'd mention that.

Why should flaxseed cause/increase acne?
