But what is to stop a forum owner from posting things as if they are a person with knowledge when they may not know what they are talking about?

Nothing unless they have dissolved their ego or control expression of it then they may use their own discernment...what stops you from your ego expression?

Is there no oversight here or reqirement of experise?
