Healing Properties

EDIT~ I just read your edit, YES, I got a lot of sinus/lung drainage early on...
Iodine has an affinity for all areas of the body with a high rate of cellular turnover, like the mucus membranes, also, high doses of SSKI used to be prescribed for emphysema, etc...breaks up mucus well. That was a passing phase with me, lasted 2-3 weeks or so...
