Thanks rabbitt for all the info on the liver!

I found the the starting thread about parasites and the liver very interesting:

http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=930606#i

"A long suspicion of mine regarding regarding the selective "hepatotoxicity" of individual patients to particular drugs (not just antivirals) is that it may be parasite related, particularly with sulphonamides, which many parasites tend to be quite sensitive to.
"

I agree. Also keep in mind that the Liver is a 'luxury' reservoir for many parasitic species; 'the best they can find for the price', so to speak. They 'engulf' themselves in layers of Fat adhered to the Liver. They find it quite nice there, I hear [see 'fatty liver' problems]. Nice temperature, nice environment, nice neighborhood."

Ack, this is a very disturbing fact to me, I am very concerned. It makes the infested person even more of a victim. The inner organs are out of our reach. I read an article where an ill man ran all the parasite test possible and they showed negative, the only thing that was revealing was a liver biopsy which showed a nematode infection. And those are not done upon a patients request, it takes much to do such a test.

Many parasites "go" through the liver during their life cycle, like ascaris. I have a picture:

When I googled liver parasites I saw mostly pictures of pigs and horses livers, all scarred and damaged. The parasite much really wreac havoc on the organs.

"They 'engulf' themselves in layers of Fat adhered to the Liver"

How in the world can we "ungulf" them? Knowing that they sit there and eat my organs is really disturbing to me. Personally I have liver pain with spasms and "biting" sensations all the time in my liver area, I never had this prior to the infestation.

I am a person, not somebodys food.
