I had also had success with silica but then stopped using it. My problem is that I had hairloss at the very top center of my hair and have lost volume on the top and temples; the rest of my hair is very thick so it gives the illusion that I have a lot of hair but it is actually very weak and thin in the front. I do have a thyroid problem but I understand thyroid related hair loss is general thinning all over the scalp, not just in one area. I'm going to try silica again to see if it helps restore the loss; I don't seem to have much hairloss though, but maybe it will help regrowth.
