I just posted this info in the oxygen group on Herpes. Thought it might be of some help here. This is using ozone to treat herpes. This it the result of 90 posts on herpes from Dr. Pressmans group at Yahoo. It's pretty long, but a lot of good info.

Since doing ozone saunas for the past 7 years, I have only had about 10 outbreaks. About 6-7 bad outbreaks after about 8 months of saunas and then 2-3 outbreaks about 2 years ago after not doing ozone for about 4-6 months. Seems like the ozone keeps it in check until you lay off for a long period, then it tries again to break out!

For herpes, it is necessary to funnel at the base of the spine.
Wet the area thoroughly with a warm wet washcloth, in order to
open the pores, so the ozone can penetrate to where the herpes virus
hides out in the nerve ganglia. Sessions should be 20 - 30 minutes
at 1/32 l/m. Repeat daily.

I have been looking at ozone therapy for quite some time and am suffering from hsv-1.Nothing for me has worked,my last suspicions are my mercury fillings. I have persistent outbreaks and it has been this way for 5 years. Do you think that ozone intravenously will help. I would really like some insight. Thank you. P.S. If you know of a protocol that is effective I would be so thankful.

Herpes is a tenacious virus, that hides out between outbreaks in the nerve ganglia at the base of the spine.
Treating the blood will not get it in its hideout. Only funneling with ozone at that area daily has a chance of eradicating it.
In the meantime, take 500 mg lysine daily to suppress its flare ups.

Hello Saul,
I'm wondering if doing vaginal insufflations will take care of herpes
virus, which I hear tends to hang out in the sacrum spinal area.
I have been experiencing alot of pain in my sacrum since beginning to use
ozone vaginally and am wondering if I'm killing off herpes there.

You are doing good work. Try and complete the job by also funneling over the
sacrum area, and attack the virus where it hides out. Remember to wet the

Hey Dr. Pressman,

My girl riend and I both have Herpes. I have very few outbreaks but
she has them all the time and they tend to worsen after sex and become
painful. I was wondering if you think that using Ozonated Olive Oil
as a lubricant would help control or lessen the affects of her outbreaks?

I was also wondering about using it with a condom. Would the ozone in
the olive oil weaken the latex and increase the risk of the condom
breaking?

Dear J,

Ozonated olive oil will inactivate any virus that it comes into contact with.
I doubt that it will lessen her outbreaks, though, since the source of the virus
is elsewhere (spinal ganglia).

A condom will be destroyed by contact with ozonated olive oil, so that is out.

Dear Todd,

1) Ozone and oxygen both support combustion.
2) Inhaling ozone bubbled through olive oil will eliminate asthma,
and help COPD, pneumonia and other lung problems.
3) It is not a question of speed, really. The lungs are delicate structures,
without the antioxidant enzyme defenses of other cells, otherwise they could not
take in oxygen. The olive oil changes the
ozone into an ozonide, C10-H18-O3, which has less oxidative energy
and is therefore much better suited to lung tissue. Because of this lower energy
state, the ozonide is less powerful. Therefore, on cases of lung cancer and
emphysema, for example, I would recommend using
the funnel on the chest at full strength, which will result in a better effect.
4) Toxins will be oxidized in the lungs by breathing ozone bubbled through olive
oil. Dust and other airborne debris that has managed to find its way into the
lungs over the years will be coughed out, following this type of treatment
(expectoration).
5) Glad you asked.
Seemingly healthy people can have subclinical problems of which they are not
aware. Top athletes can get cancer, for example.
Stress depletes the vital B vitamins, which can impair cellular repair
mechanisms. Many people carry undetected low grade viruses and bacteria, such as
helicobacter pylori (causes ulcers) and chlamydia (causes atherosclerosis) and
herpes zoster (chicken pox and shingles), which bide their time until the immune
system is weakened, and then cause problems. There are an estimated 10,000 cells
that daily revert to anerobic fermentation from aerobic oxidation of sugar, and
the immune system cleans them up. When the immune system goes offline, these
cells are left to replicate, starting cancers that will not be detected for 10
or 20 years. Ozone can detect these rogue cells (by charge levels) and
selectively remove them without damage to good cells.
So, regular ozone therapy is an excellent prevention system against all the
things we cannot see. You cannot buy better medical insurance.

Is she taking two lysine capsules per hour during outbreaks?
Lysine prevents the herpes virus from replicating, so it is important
to get enough into the system.

You can try ozonated olive oil applied directly to the lesions.

I've done many funneling treatments to my lower spine area for a herpes infection and have still had outbreaks. So now
I want to try some subcantous ozone injections to my lower spine area like some doctors in Cuba are doing with great results being reported .
I think I understand it to be ozonate distilled water that they are injecting . How many cc.s in a injection can I do and how long should the water be ozonated ? How often could I do these injections ?
I've learned how to pinch the skin together at the injection site as to only let the needle penetrate the skin .

Dear Rodney,

Funneling is as effective as subcutaneous injection, so you may not see any better results that way.

I would ozonate 4 oz of water for 10 minutes and then inject 10cc and see how that went.

I do rectal treatements during my outbreaks and that has proven many times to be
very effective.

For herpes simplex virus, take two lysine capsules daily. During an outbreak,
take 2 lysine capsules every hour, and apply ozonated olive oil every hour.


The ozone will kill (inactivate) all virus it can touch. Virus that is out of its 'fortress' and actively replicating is easy to wipe out. If the virus is well hidden and can not be reached, the ozone cannot do its job. If the virus is given a chance to grow back every other day, then your chances of getting it are lessened. It is a bit like fighting a forest fire -- you have to get all the little fires too, or a strong wind will fan it into life again.

Drugs will not help. Only lysine can be used to suppress the virus' ability to replicate.


Some virus comes out of the nerve ganglia area to cause an outbreak, but some always remains in the site, lurking. Go after it more aggressively, and deny it a safe haven. The rash will be bad for a while, but eventually will subside. Do some liver cleanses, and take protease to reduce the rash.


I have all but eliminated my outbreaks by doing saunas. As long as I continue, I never have outbreaks. I stopped for 8 months once before I started having outbreaks again. It took me about 2 months again to stop all outbreaks. First time it took about 8 months before outbreaks stopped. Good luck.

Hi Ken!

I find your personal experience very enlightening, and it matches my experience and research with other protocols that I'm familiar with, dealing with a wide range of virii.
We believe that we've converted two cases of genital herpes with healing clay therapy, but these results have never been confirmed with any laboratory testing. Both cases have been without an outbreak for over three years after the clay treatments, with no further treatments necessary after a year of occasional treatment ( at the time of any outbreak ). Treatment is simple; upon outbreak, a Green Clay poultice at least 3/4 inches thick is utilized at the breakout location. Pain is elleviated very rapidly. Outbreaks occured less and less, until they simply stopped.

The efficacy of clay against infections can be improved by combining anywhere from 5-50% Colloidal Silver with the clay.



Ken, oddly enough I was just having this same discussion with a well known Dr. a viral / immunologist.

The big question is "What minimum amount of ozone will I need to do to assure that I never have another outbreak?"

And, of course, another big question would be "Is a total cure possible?"
******His answer and beginning to be mine is, no. As we are all aware, after so many rounds of " Antibiotics " they seem to stop being effective and a new one is used. Presumably because the bacteria have become resistant to that strain of antibiotic.
So why should we think any different about viruses. His thinking is that all we can do is keep them at a controllable level. That level hopefully being that we don't even know we still have them.
My only hope now is that substances like ozone, that are "not" man-made pharmaceutics, can not have a resistance created against them.

I still actually believe it is very possible since I have never pursued the herpes virus aggressively. Since it resides at the base of the spine during its dormant phase, I think that cupping at the base of the spine aggressively while in the sauna would possibly kill the virus totally.

Unfortunately, I may never find the answer to this one as I don't intend stopping ozone saunas for such a long period again so should never have another outbreak. Also, I enjoy the results of regular ozone saunas enough that I probably won't aggressively cup at the base of my spine unless I find a very relaxing way of doing it.
******How about purchasing a length of Velcro, long enough to fashion a belt and they come very wide, like 2". You can cut the "belt" in the back and secure the funnel between the two pieces (rivet, silicone calk, etc...) then put a "T" in the ozone line that supplies your sauna and run the second "new" line up and through the neck hole and to the funnel. You could actually put your " funnel-belt" on outside the sauna, then step in making sure the hose is routed through the top and your be doing "funneling" while your "saunaing" :)

Viruses cannot become resistant to ozone.
But, they can certainly hide out in places that are difficult to deliver ozone to. Since ozone has to work by contact, that is why herpes is so resistant.

I think that you can eradicate herpes simplex virus, but three months
is optimistic.

It is tenacious and hides out at the base of the spine, and
it can lay dormant for years, until an emotional upset or a physical
stress causes the immune system to dip down, and then it will emerge.

The tests for HSV can only detect it while an outbreak is ongoing, which
is useless.

The best adjunct therapy I know of is taking a lysine capsule daily,
and two 500 mg lysine capsules every hour when you have an outbreak.

I have a friend with Herpes and she has been using H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) taking baths and such. She does not have the money to afford a ozone generator. However I was wondering if anyone has any experience with H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) and DMSO? Applying it to the base of the spine? Would this be better than or equal to ozone funnelling?

Dear Fred,

There have been some reports of a bad reaction between the H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) and the DMSO, so I would err on the side of caution and skip the solvent. H2O2 on its own is powerful enough to take on herpes, if you are diligent.

Another crucial adjunct is lysine. One 500 ml capsule per day every day, and 2 per HOUR during the day when there is an outbreak. Lysine is an excellent suppressor of herpes.

Saul, that is exactly how my herpes reacted. I usually got an outbreak every 8-12 weeks. When I started ozone, the first about 80 saunas, the outbreaks occurred as frequently as every 4-6 weeks and then, at about 1000 saunas, I had a massive outbreak even in places that I had never had before. That was over a year ago now and I have not had another outbreak.



I've seen many replies from Dr. Saul Pressman regarding genital herpes
living at the base of the spine, so transdermal funneling at the base of the
spine is suggested.
I have a few question about facial herpes:

1. What is the best application of ozone if someone has facial herpes?
2. I've read that hsv1 lives in the trigeminal ganglia which is located near
the ear. Does this mean that funneling in front of the ear is the best
approach?
3. Are there actually 2 trigeminal ganglia (one near each ear), or is there
only 1 located near the center of the head?

I have just started using ozone. I came up with the following schedule:
-Rectal Insufflation, 2 times/day, 60-90 sec @ 1/2 l/s
-Ear Insufflation, 2 times/day, 2 Min @ 1/16 l/s
-Ozonated water, 3 glasses/day, 3-4 min @ 1/2 l/s
-Transdermal funneling at ear 1 time/day (15 min each side) @ 1/2 l/s.

Please comment on my schedule. Am I doing too much?

Dear Homer,

Herpes is a virus that inhabits the nerve network. The two
trigeminal nerves can become involved. They are also involved
in Bell's palsy.

To get at them, ear insufflation would be a good method. Funneling
in front of the ear would also be possible. Just set up a fan to blow excess
ozone away from the face. Always wet the skin first. A small funnel will be
easiest to control. A flow rate of 1/32 l/m will work the best.

Your protocols need a bit of adjustment, in my opinion.

Try:
- Rectal insufflation: once per day; three times per week; following an
enema; for 10 - 20 minutes at 1/32 l/m; 40-50 ug/ml
- Ear insufflation : once per day; 5 minutes per ear; 1/32 l/m at 40 - 50
ug/ml
- Ozonated water: 3 - 4 glasses per day; 1/8 l/m at 40 - 50 ug/ml
- Transdermal funneling in front of ear; once per day; 10 minutes per side;
1/32 l/m at 40-50 ug/ml; use a fan.

Doing this much ozone will induce a healing crisis. That may be ok for you
if it is not too severe. If it is too much, back off everything except the
ozonated water for a couple of days. You could also take every weekend off,
and drink lots of freshly squeezed juices.

Since the herpes attacks along a nerve branch, there
can be some residual neuropathy, so taking large amounts
of all the B vitamins will help as well. Blackstrap molasses
made into tea is a good source of most Bs, and brewer's yeast
is an even better source. Sublingual supplements are available
now as well.

Other Vitamins like Vitamin C will also help, and Co-Q10, too.

OZONE AS THERAPY IN HERPES SIMPLEX
AND HERPES ZOSTER DISEASES

Abstract
It is known from many researches that ozone has a high antibacterial and
antiviral effect and this is utilized in the industrial treatment of
drinking water. Authors of this paper tried to utilize this ozone effect in
the treatment of some viral diseases of man. 30 patients with herpes zoster
and 27 with herpes simplex labialis were treated with injections of an
oxygen-ozone mixture. Patients with herpes zoster healed from cutaneous
lesions after a minimum of five and a maximum of 12 injections performed
once daily. 5 elderly patients complained of postherpetic pain. Herpes
simplex healed completely after a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 5
injections. Only 3 recurrence of herpes labialis were observed in 3 years.
No side effects were noticed during treatment in all patients.

Herpes virus is a group of DNA-virus that range in size between 120 and 180
nm; they contain a lipid envelope, are sensible to ether and have a cubic
symmetry. Virus multiplication is intracellular. After entering the cell by
pinocytosis, nucleic acid is stripped from the capsid and specific virus DNA
strands are transcribed into specific mRNA, which is, in turn, translated to
synthesize virus-specific proteins and enzymes necessary for biosynthesis of
virus DNA. Newly formatted complete virions may be released by cell lysis of
budding from the cytoplasm (1). Principal routes of infection in man may be
respiratory, direct contact, transplacentar (H. Hominis), breast milk and
feces (Cytomegalovirus).

The main diseases occurring in man from these agents are:
? Varicella (chickenpox)

? Herpes Simplex
? Herpes labialis
? Herpes genitalis
? H. Hominis Type 1 and Type 2
? Acute gingivostomatitis
? Rhinitis
? Keratoconjunctivitis
? Meningoencephalitis

? Cytomegalic inclusion disease

Herpes zoster is a disease caused by the same virus as varicella. It has
been suggested that it results from reactivation of virus that has lain
dormant in spinal nerves since an episode of chickenpox (2). It occurs often
in patients with neoplasm, specially lymphomas (3) and in elderly patients.
It is characterized by unilateral segmental inflammation of the spinal or
cranial nerves and their ganglions and by a painful localized vesicular
eruption of the skin along the distribution of the involved nerve. Skin
lesions starts with local redness and progress over the next 2 - 3 weeks
through red papules, vesicules, pustules and crusts. In young people pain
persists only a week or two after healing but in elderly patients it often
remains for over two months.

Herpes labialis is a chronic local infection of Herpes virus Hominis type I
with clinical recurrences associated with continued virus shedding rather
than reactivation of latent infection (4). Often recurrence appears after
infective diseases, exposure to sunlight, menstruations and tiredness.
Typically the disease is preceded by a brief period of itching and
inflammation followed by a vesicular eruption that later collapses and
ulcerates leaving a crust. The disease lasts about 8 - 15 days. Local
iodoxuridine can shorten pain and morbidity somewhat. No therapy is
available to prevent recurrence.

In spite of this excellent antiviral and antibacterial effect, ozone has not
been widely utilized in medicine because of the widespread belief that it is
toxic to man (13, 14). This opinion varies widely from the fact that
researches about ozone effects on animals were done by only observing
respiratory tract lesions after long-term inhalation of ozone. In fact,
while it is true that ozone is toxic if inhaled (but it is only a local
toxicity), it is also true that given in forms other than inhalation
(endovenous, intraarterial, intramuscular, subcutaneous, local, transdermal)
there is no toxic effect (15,16,17). Injected ozone can be given without
risks (if the injection technique is correct) because of the good solubility
of ozone in blood. Fundamental is to use a mixture containing medically
pure ozone. This can only be obtained utilizing a machine that produces
ozone from pure oxygen (and not from air).

To investigate the effect of ozone on some viral diseases we treated a group
of patients affected by Herpes Zoster and Herpes Simplex Labialis.

Material and Methods
In the period 1980-1982 we treated 30 patients affected by Herpes Zoster and
27 affected by Herpes simplex labialis. In the Herpes Zoster group 13 were
men and 17 women. Age range was from 9 to 76 years and the mean age was
41.4. In the Herpes simplex group, 12 were men and 15 women. Age range was
from 15 to 53 and the mean age was 34.5.

Face 5 cases
Neck 2 cases
Thorax 12 cases
Abdomen 8 cases
Upper limbs 1 case
Lower limbs 2 cases
Total 30 cases

Therapy performed in all patients consisted of injections of 20cc of a
oxygen-ozone mixture. The concentration of ozone was 20 gamma of ozone per
cc (20 ug/ml) of oxygen-ozone mixture. Injections were performed daily and
were stopped at complete healing (except in 5 patients of the Herpes Zoster
group and in 3 of the Herpes Simplex group which broke up therapy before
ending; see below). Special care was taken on the technique of injections:
gas mixture must be injected slowly (20 cc in 2-3 minutes). Some patients
sometimes noticed a sense of gurgling at the axillary region: 5 patients
had a slight cough for about 10 minutes after injections. No other side
effect was observed.

Results
Herpes Zoster: in all patients healing of skin lesions were observed after
a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 12 ozone injections. In the greater part of
patients (21) we had a disappearance of local redness after only 2-3 days of
therapy: especially in those patients that started therapy quickly at the
beginning of symptoms (fig. I and 2). Contemporaneously vesicules dried up
and crusts appeared. After beginning therapy no new vesicules appeared. The
disease course was "cut off" and complete healing was very quick. 5
patients broke up therapy because they felt well after a few injections; 2-4
days later new vesicules and pain appeared. Complete healing was achieved
after another cycle of therapy. Usually pain regressed contemporaneously
with disappearance of local redness; itching persisted for some days while
going on with therapy but disappeared at the end of therapy. In the other 5
patients, skin lesions healed but neuritis post-herpetica lasted for over 2
months; all of these patients were elderly (over 70 years) and started
therapy late after the beginning of symptoms. The other patients never had
neuritis post-herpetica.

Herpes Simplex: all patients healed after 1-5 injections. Best results
were reached in patients that began therapy early before vesicules appeared;
in these cases the disease healed directly without the appearance of
vesicules in 1-2 days. 3 patients with severe herpes labialis stopped
therapy after only one injection and observed appearance of new vesicules;
a new cycle of treatment allowed complete healing. It was noticed that
other patients with slight herpes healed after only one injection. Very
interesting that of this group of 27 patients treated, only 3 complained a
recurrence of disease and this recurrence were clearly attenuated in
comparison with their usual disease. The other 24 patients had no recurrence
during period of control (maximum 3 years).

According to these results we can assert that ozone seemed to be very
effective in the therapy of herpes zoster and herpes simplex labialis
diseases. We observed a clear shortening of the course of disease and, if
therapy starts early, also a "cut-off" of the course of disease. It can be
possible also that ozone obtains a complete healing of herpes simplex
labialis without recurrence after therapy but it is necessary to have a
longer time of control. It was important to perform injections daily, to
continue therapy till healing was complete and not to stop treatment
prematurely because immediate recurrence of the disease is possible. It is
interesting to notice the absence of side effects with ozone therapy.

OZONE vs. HERPES : THE CHOICE

ABSTRACT

OZONE treatment for HERPES diseases, an indication introduced into OZONE
Therapy and first published by this author in 1981, is revised and
discussed. The technique of the OZONE administration in such cases is
described. A series of reasons and arguments, explaining and suggesting the
way of action of the OZONE in such cases is given at the end of this paper.
OZONE can and should be considered as the medical treatment of choice for
these diseases.

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
Many have been the attempts of modern medicine to fight viral infections.
Millions of dollars have been spent to find some effective way to treat
viral infections. But only rather poor results have so far emerged. Really
good results have been achieved only, or almost only, in preventing viral
infections, rather than treating infections already established body. It is
wonderful to see the eradication of variola, of hydrophobia, the minimum
incidence of polio, pertussis and tetanus. Yet, it is frustrating to see
millions and millions of people suffering from HERPES, without being able to
give them an effective drug or treatment. There are, indeed, several
anti-herpetic vaccines on the world market, but their real effectiveness has
shown to be much below of what had initially been expected.

In this paper I present, in a short and objective manner, the experience I
have gathered along several years, treating herpes with OZONE. It must be
mentioned that all these patients, some of them rich and others rather poor,
have been treated in my private medical office in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Being
so, some laboratory work that certainly would be done in any teaching
hospital, was purposely omitted, for purely financial reasons. The results,
however, can be undoubtedly accepted as significant.

METHODS

For the HERPES ZOSTER patients, the ozonation is done by autohemotherapy,
however I always give the patient some PROCAINE injections (as suggested by
HUNEKE in his "Neuraltherapie" ), in order to obtain a better and faster
analgesia.

The clinical results of the OZONE therapy against HERPES, so far (DEC '82)
have been simply fantastic. The maximum follow up I have until now is about
2.5 years. All my HERPES SIMPLEX patients have been given 9 mg of OZONE,
twice a week, as long as there were visible lesions. All treatments were
started during the first three days of an eruption. After the lesions
disappeared, each patient was given another two applications, but in weekly
intervals. Most of my herpes simplex patients got well after 6 applications.
A few patients needed 8 or 9 applications.

TABLE 2 shows the herpes simplex patients I have so far treated with OZONE
genital herpes 20 cases
cutaneous herpes 4 cases
oral herpes ( lips) 2 cases
ophthalrnic herpes 2 cases
total 28 cases

The average age of these patients was 35.1 years ( from 21 to 70 years ) The
sexes were : 21.4 % female and 78.6 % male.

The results of OZONE therapy against herpes simplex, as compiled from my
patients until DEC '82, are shown in TABLE 3

Only three of the total of 28 herpes simplex patients here mentioned had
received no previous medical treatment. All the remaining 25 patients had
been treated previously by usually more than one physician in Brazil. Most
of my herpes simplex patients have had their disease for more than four
years. Their eruptions lasted usually for about 7 days, and their remission
period was an average of about 1.5 months. Also as an average, each patient
had previously tried out between 3 and 4 different therapeutic methods.
These included all kinds of creams, anti-herpetic vaccines, BCG vaccines,
anti-variola vaccines, Isoprinozine, Icvamizole, cortisone, and, in one
case, spiritism.

The 5 cases of only questionable success, as shown in TABLE 3, deserve some
special comments:

a) one case of genital herpes seems to have been really a therapeutic
failure.
b) one case of genital herpes, a 37 year old woman, seems to be
questionable success because she had a very severe infection and
inflammation of her endocervix, which, after the OZONE therapy, not only
continued the vaginal discharge, but also made a clinical evaluation rather
dubious.
c) one case of genital herpes seems to have been a case of reinfection. This
has been suggested by the patient himself, who admits having been reinfected
by his wife after she came back from a 2 month vacation.
d) one case of oral herpes seems to be more a skin disease tightly related
to emotional circumstances, as suggested by the patient herself, a 38 year
old white woman, after she had a sudden eruption, within maybe 15 minutes,
after she received the message of the death of a near relative.
e) one case of ophthalmic herpes, a 37 year old truck driver, apparently did
have results, but the scars on the patient's cornea forced him to keep his
left eye in an abnormal, forced, position, in order to see well and in good
focus. This caused him most severe eye- and headaches. Upon my suggestion,
he tried to receive a cornea transplantation, but, maybe because of social
circumstances, he had no chance at all.

The typical herpes patient treated in my office is a patient in stress,
because of his long-time disease, frustrated because of repeated failures of
medical treatment, and usually willing to do anything to get rid of his
annoying, depressing, frustrating, and often sexually incapacitating
disease.

All herpes simplex patients started their OZONE treatment at the beginning
of an eruption. It showed clearly that the crisis, under OZONE treatment,
was a much shorter one, and also much weaker. Most of the patients had no
more signs of herpes after the third session. Some evidenced a rapid
improvement right after the first or second application. The feeling of
relief, of finally recovered health, of being no longer contagious, and of
having won a final battle against an apparently incurable disease, is
something that cannot be described in words, but only admired and enjoyed by
both patient and treating physician. There are no words or pictures to
describe happiness.

Things are different for HERPES ZOSTER patients. They not only feel sick,
frus-trated or resigned, because of constant medical failure, but also they
are in pain. It is well known that the herpes zoster pains are almost
unbearable ones. The patients need help, urgent help. They are desperate.
They cannot sleep well for months at a time. Some even think of suicide.

Those few patients I could treat from the very beginning of their herpes
zoster experienced a relatively fast recovery. It never took longer than 6
to 8 weeks to get them well and stop the OZONE therapy. However, those
patients whom I could only treat after they had already had their herpes
zoster for weeks or months, or even years, needed a much longer time to feel
only better. The lesions on the skin would almost invariably diminish and
disappear within 3 or 4 weeks, but the pain, the residual pain, that comes
suddenly like a sharp knife being introduced into the patient 5 chest or
back, does remain for months and months. All I could do for these patients
was to get them to a point where their pains were bearable, so that they
could resume their normal activities and use only small amounts of oral
analgesics. It seems, thus, of utmost importance, to treat a herpes zoster
patient with OZONE from the very beginning of his disease in order to have a
chance of complete recovery.

All that was said to this point is based on my own clinical experience, with
my private patients in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Many are the papers, research
results, in vitro tests, and other facts related to the efficiency of OZONE
against virus and viral infections. All these texts can be found,
separately, in the world OZONE literature. It is for me an intensively great
pleasure to have been the first physician in the world to describe this form
of treatment for HERPES diseases. Much more so, if one considers that it
seems to be THE treatment for herpes. My first presentation on this subject
was at the 5th International Ozone Congress, March 1981, in Berlin,
West-Germany.

Of course, some thought has been given to the possible, or probable, reasons
for such efficiency of the OZONE. How can OZONE work so well against these
diseases? As an answer to these questions, I refer to the following

1) The OZONE, in such relatively high dosages, has a clearly
anti-inflammatory effect. without important undesirable side effects.
2) OZONE is known for its highly virus-killing and/or virus-inactivating
effect. If in herpes patients this virucidal effect must be attributed only
to the OZONE itself, or to one or more of the organic compounds produced by
the OZONE / blood reaction, remains to be clarified.
3) It is known that OZONE can improve the human metabolism "in totum". Thus,
not only several parameters are normalized by OZONE, the blood circulation
is improved in affected tissues, the oxygen and thus energy supply to
inflamed areas is improved, but also the immunological system is positively
influenced. Recent opinions include even a "vaccine effect" of the OZONE,
suggesting that fragments of viruses, partially destroyed by the OZONE,
could function as an antigenic stimulus, without being pathogenic.
4) The so-called" inhibitory substances " in human blood, which can lead to
metabolic deviations sensu latu - and also to immunological deviations sensu
latu - are known to be progressively and safely eliminated under the
influence of OZONE.
5) It has been demonstrated that OZONE induces to a greater phagocytosis
disponsability of the leukocytes. This means that viruses and other
pathogenic organisms may be attacked faster and stranger when the patient is
given OZONE.
6) The above mentioned reasons, as well as this whole paper dealing with
OZONE against herpes is hopefully the beginning of the end of millions of
people's long suffering. It is sure that there are some diseases which can
be BEST treated with OZONE - and herpes is among these.

Conventional wisdom has it that Herpes cannot be cured because it hides
in the nerve sheath of the spinal cord where even the human immune
system cannot go.

But, ozone sauna can rid you of it, as oxygen goes everywhere. And,
electronic devices like Beck's unit, used with a pulser is claimed to
cure Herpes also also. Having used them, and being a daily user of the
pulser, I don't doubt it.

But, to anyone who has problems with herpes SBO's stops herpes in its
tracks! I take 2 capsule of a multi-strain soil bacteria twice a day. At
the first sign of herpes (or the flu for that matter) up your intake to
4-5 caps 3-4 times a day, depending on severity of symptoms.

If you do this at the first tingle from herpes it will go away. Once the
blister come out DO NOT BREAK THEM. SBO's can still make it disappear in
24-48 hours. If lesions break open, SBO's can still abort the attack,
but it will take the broken tissue 10 days to heal.

Dear Lanette,

Since the herpes virus hides out at the base of the spine, it is necessary to
deliver the ozone to the spot. When you are in the steam cabinet, it is
difficult to
reach around behind to hold the funnel in place.

However, it could be done by just hanging the tubing down at the back and
leaning back
against it to trap it there.

The ozone sauna provides a dual treatment (hyperthermia and ozone) so it is very
powerful.
