Low carb maple syrup very likely is not even maple syrup or contain any maple syrup at all. It is probably some garbage chemical concoction of artificial sweeteners made to taste like maple syrup. The whole purpose of the natural organic maple in the MC is  to provide minerals and carbs that you need to help you function when fasting and not to fill your body with processed low carb garbage that most likely does not contains any minerals at all.

The MC is NOT a calorie restrictive weight loss diet.
