Yes, I used it not knowing my cats had any parasites. Within the 5 days, one of my cats vomited up large, dead worms!

However, they don't like eating it. I mixed it in honey or almond butter, then wiped it on their tongues or roof of mouth (tongue seemed to work better).

On a separate note, I had a struggle taking the HW myself last time (gave me headaches, constipation, etc.). An ayurvedic/traditional chinese medicine herbalist looked at all the stuff in the HW & criticized the combination & choice of herbs. My husband & I both struggled through taking it one time but had no clear evidence of worms. This last time, it was aggravating him so badly, I put off taking it...he was getting a lot of headaches. People will tell you that is " parasite die-off" or "detox," but I saw no evidence of this. My husband & I have different dominant doshas, and this herbalist recommended against it (though wasn't trying to sell us another parasite herbal formula or anything). So unfortunately, we have the leftovers, but probably won't be taking it again ourselves.
