Although you've run into this situation, there is a future opportunity. If I remember correctly you said that you have five children. Perhaps your daughter might be interested in becoming a future microbiologist -- one with an open-mind! We need more people in the world helping us out!

With your guidance and knowledge she'll have great encouragement and future. Particularly, starting out as hobbyist.
