Plasticisers are used to form polymers from monomers and these plasticisers are very toxic , even in parts per trillion and toxic levels of these plasticisers remain in the finished polymer.Composites are formed using plasticisers, often phthalate.
The study to which you refer says that diamond composite has phenol, a toxic compound . Bisphenol is just two phenols bonded. The study only lasted 18 monthes and I want fillings that will last twenty years. The study does'nt say whether they have toluene , barium ,cadmium, xylene .
From what I've read, direct composites shrink and this leaves gaps allowing entrance of bacteria and acids which cause decay.
