I just finished the cleanse and goofed up by, after 2 in the afternoon, I drank water. That evening I was very very nauseous and did not drink the oil. I emailed my doctor and she said to start over the following day, which I did.
I put the 1 tbsp Epsom Salts in water and shake it heartily, then drink it down in one swig. I would not even consider sipping it. For the oil and grapefruit juice, I shake it very hard until the mixture is emulsified. And drink that down in one swig. I do not think about what I am drinking but about the positive effects it will have on my body. I also rinse out my mouth following each drink, whether salts or oil. This helps a bit.
