I couldn't find the whole paper on the subject; it is here but spring cleaning isn't until March.

The pertinent line is........ "is not possible to increase circulating glutathione to a clinically beneficial extent by the oral administration of a single dose of 3 g of glutathione."

If three grams won't get it, then I consider it orally ineffective.
