Ceramic fillings last far longer than composites and are therefore better for your teeth since every time you replace fillings you risk nerve damage and fracture and every time you replace them you end up with a larger filling and less of your tooth intact.
Degussa uses zirconium which is far more biocompatible than any composite material.
