I wholeheartedly agree with this question. IMHO, our concept of disease maybe fundamentally mistaken and needs to be re-thought.
Many times since beginning meditation more than 8 years ago I have "deconstructed" "truths" I'd based my life on, only to find they were completely wrong. They're usually easy to change, once the basis is understood correctly.
IMHO, medicine is in dire need of deconstruction, if health is the objective.
