Dear Rudi,

Thanks for all your input. I have been meditating now for three years for one hour almost every day, now I need to turn to loving compassion meditation too. I used to do meditation for creativity and I don't know how I sustained it so long. I wonder if I started under the waxing of the new moon! I am beginning now with the Gamma version and I am reminding myself to take one small step at a time. It does require dicipline and conscietiousness but I desire to be a better person. In the end love is all there is and I like being "in a loving state". When I meditate it feels so beutiful inside like something so life sustaining and healthful is arising within me. It is a welling of supreme emotion.

I used to have a zen-bodyworker years ago who was one of the most loving beings I had ever met. She worshipped Ammachi, a modern Hindu Saint and she was a beautiful human being. I desire in all my heart to be like that, I really do. I have encountered a lot of people in my life who have fallen desperately short of this and when I go to Gamma it reminds me what a sorry state this world is in and how more kindness would make life more harmonious and gentle. Life would be better if there was more benevolence. So I do my meditation every day and focus on life-giving people who sustain my intentions.

I like doing Ghandharva too which is a devotion to the angelic hosts, by placing loving pressure on your voice and singing to them which raises your awareness and makes you even more conscious.

You can also raise your world view with the work of Dr. David Hawkins who is a modern US mystic who has his works read by statesmen and leaders in their chosen field. His books are mind-blowing and they lift you up in spirit. He is considered a genuine master who desires no followers and does his work for the betterment of humanity. He has also died twice and fought in a war as well as curing himself of innumerable illnesses. He gives useful prescriptions on how to live life with more grace. I started with "Power vs Force" which lifts you up by a large number of consciousness points, when the average person only moves by a few in one lifetime. He has a website called
http://www.the-tree-of-life.com
where you can apply tapping exercises to reduce the effects of disease similar to EFT it is called Attractor Field Technique or you can buy CD's which are quite expensive which emit pulses that affect you the same way.
