and that's the way it is these days. I responded to a post in the news forum about the upcoming FDA control of supplements with a request for guidance on what I can do about this. I received one suggestion ~ "garden". Well, we do. We also take supplements.
Our society consists of compartmentalized, specialized and urbanized folks, mainly. Very few have the means or wherewithall to learn to grow or wildcraft medicines. That's really beside the point. The fact is, we had(have) choices.
The gardening suggestion is good, for the long term. Add to that education in the self-sufficient arts. Most folks are clueless. That's what they're counting on. I suggest restructuring of society will be necessary as well. good luck to us all.
