The Epsom Salts do have a laxative effect.

I have go to the bathroom many times while I am flushing but after that laxative effect it turns into constipation for me.

The epsoms do something to my intestines. They seem to render my intestines non-functional after the initial laxative effect.

Every time I use the epsoms now, the constipation gets a little worse. I haven't had a bowel movement in 3 days!
