Go to a qualified chiropractor to put the hiatal valve back into place.
Most times GERD is caused by wrong diet/lack of digestive juices which cause the food to sit in the stomach too long - this distends the stomach and strains the hiatal valve, putting it out of place and creating a leak.
Now everytime food is put into the stomach any little acid will rise and cause heartburn.
