Interestingly, I had to visit Wally World
the day before yesterday, and saw a huge
glitzy display for this product and could
not help but think (as I often do seeing
all the rows devoted to Aspartame delivery
systems)that great efforts are being made
to create a market for big pharmaceutical
companies to PROFIT. If hundreds of thousands
of humans die along the way, well, no sweat
off the shareholder's back as they are not
looking at the damage their investments are
causing.

Years ago, when we had monies to invest,
our stockbroker was frustrated by our
insistence that our dollars be invested in
companies whose values were aligned with
ours. We chose to just say NO to companies
who silently sacrificed the well being of
others for profit.

I know there must be readers who wonder
what can I do to help improve the situation.
If they are truly interested, ask the hard
questions of where their banks are investing
their money. If they do not like what they
hear, they can make other choices where they
invest their assets.

Over all, it does beg the question how we
can provide people a platform to get truth
out. Politically, the will of the people
by the current presidential administration
is disregarded almost in totality. We are
left standing and wondering, how to stop
this speeding train~~!

We need to consider urgently getting our
health watch dogs new trainers. The FDA
seems to welcome the thieves with lapdog
affection. Money, perks, lobbying efforts
which have destructive repercussions all
crawl under the fence with a rapidity that
is like a turnstile blurring past us.

Our system of checks and balances is broken
and so I laud those who do work to find ways
to educate the public and their contemporaries
to the realities of their *weapons* of mass
destruction. As surely as guns and war kill
people, drugs and mis-use of information is
responsible for countless deaths. That the
national WILL is steered by media whose bosses
have an agenda is also a travesty. One rarely
hears major news like this on the nightly news
which would impact so many.

Sure, if pets are dying from tainted pet food,
those products disappear from shelves overnight.
These products, and many others which pose as
great a risk are put up on a pedestal and television
and print ads glorify their usage as if a miracle on
Earth had just occurred.

I do not know who created the Alli monster but
I know Rumsfield was the Commander General in
using his political clout to lace the food chain
with aspartame. I would personally have him
treated the way the Chinese treated their health
safety head guy. Doubting that would ever happen
to him and others like him, my choice is to continue
to use my voice in whatever capacity to encourage
others to take the fork in the aisle when they
come to these so called diet miracles. Its a trap,
I would say. I hope the outrage of these doctors
grows and that others join ranks and perhaps we
have a chance at SAVING lives instead of standing
by as someone reaches for another box or can of
poisons.
