nothing wrong in giving a shot when there seems to be no road to salvation. It would't be smart though to buy medical stuff online.

Moreover if this piece of info(if genuine)if at all shared with the damn doctors they would quite abrubtly dewcline, for they would only prescribe the drugs they feel lik giving.
