If you have mercury in your body or brain and everyone who has or had amalagams does - large single doses of ALA can move mercury around and make things worse.

My last round consisted of 100 mg dmsa and 50 mg ala every 4 hours. I did take a time release ala at night. It seemed to work out ok.
