I'm sure there are positive benefits from these flushes, I just think it's a shame that the whole focus has been on "Gee, I passed 10 thousand gall stones!" An exageration but you know what I mean. I think the real benefits of the flush are entirely different and something that mainstream researchers would follow up.
The way the liver esterises cholesterol and the process of conversion of cholesterol to bile acids is incredibly complex and the role of oleaic acid in lowering LDL is not fully understood.
