I use Lugol's for 3 reasons:

1. Price is lower, as Vulcanel says

2. Lifespan of Lugol's- I don't have to worry about it going bad over time.

3. I don't trust the lifespan of a tablet. True that the Iodine won't go bad,
but I don't trust whatever the fillers are.
